By visiting or shopping at this web site, you accept the following terms and conditions. By accepting an offer as on the Mobi Lodge e-commerce website, or by paying a deposit as facilitated by receipt of an offer by email will also be considered as acceptance of the terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Estimated delivery dates

All delivery dates are estimated and subject to availability of parts and production line slots. Orders with special requests or customizations are also subject to potential delays pending on development factors. It must also be acknowledged that incomplete deposit payments might delay the production run. Since most of the components used in manufacturing a Mobi Lodge are imported, international logistical constraints or delays might influence estimated delivery dates.

Pricing and Order deposits 

Current pricing as from 1-February-2020 is estimated at an exchange rate of R16.50 to the Euro and are subject to change.

Prices on special imports like the new 135L fridges, crank awnings, fibre glass, etc, are subject to final pricing as at time of delivery in SA.

10% deposit within 3 days after order will secure the estimated delivery date at the price and VAT rate as at the time of delivery.

70% deposit within 3 days after order will secure the estimated delivery date at the current price, as at the date of deposit, at the VAT rate as at time of delivery.

Cancellation

As per the CPA, in the event of a cancellation of order, a 10% cancellation fee calculated on the total order value will be levied. 

Change to 15% VAT

Please note that the VAT rate of 14% has been changed to 15% effective from 1April2018. At the time of ordering a Mobi Lodge an Order Pro Forma is tendered, which is not a VAT document.

A VAT Invoice is tendered in the following instances:

• A VAT Invoice is tendered at time of delivery at the VAT rate as at that date.

• A VAT Invoice can also be tendered after receipt of full payment at the VAT rate as at the time of payment, even if delivery has not been made.

Best practise

It is a condition of sale that the customer will acknowledge the need and adherence to best practices with regards to the nature and use of this product, which might include use on bad road surfaces and occational off-road use. Extended off-road use will need regular services and check-ups after each trip and it is the customer's responsability to constantly check factors like wheel nuts, wheel bearings, hinches, brakes, etc on the caravan, before, during and after each trip. It is also acknowledged that a special inspection service must be arranged in case of any incidents where a water crossing was made with water reaching the floor level, for the purposes of testing electrical systems and general care.

Third party products, service and repairs

The range of electronic and other accessories available as options on Mobi Lodge is offered to compliment your Mobi Lodge experience. The presentation as well as service and repairs of these products, including aircon, electric awnings, toilet, mattresses, fridge, batteries, chargers, TV screens, caravan movers, rear view cameras, etc is done by the relevant national importers and agents. The standard warranties are covered by each of these agents and service and repairs are done by these agents or by service agents they may appoint. It is agreed that these items are not serviced or repaired at and by Mobi Lodge.
